This policy documents was written for Flotilla Commanders to assist them in understanding the administrative processes involved with disenrollment, retirements, and transfer of a member. It also explains the timelines and forms associated with the process.
This is an annual policy document released by the Captain of the Prevention Division at D17. It outlines all responsibilities for Auxiliary Operations for the current summer season. D17 Command Center, DIRAUX, Order Issuing Authority, Sector and unit responsibilities are outlined as well as Auxiliary responsibilities. Recommendations for changes to this document for future summer seasons should be emailed to the D17 OTO copy the DSO-OP.
This policy document outlines current policy for the D17 Auxiliary operated SAFEBoats in Seward, Homer, and Whittier. An annex will soon be published for the Petersburg SAFEBoat. The AORs are clearly outlined in one enclosure to this document. NOTE: These AORs are for the SAFEBoat in that port. Flotilla OPFACs in that same port may have greater AORs due to the capabilities of some OPFAC platforms.
