Auxiliary eDirectory

The Auxiliary Electronic Directory is one of the better "tools" that has been offered to the members and is not just an email list, it is very handy in getting information that you need.  In it you have the ability to look up your own records for your ratings and competencies, it is much faster and easier to use than AUXINFO. You can also do searches and get lists of other members by what they do (crew, coxswain, etc) or what they are (FC, DSOs, FSOs) or even their office (VE, PE, MT, etc). You can get lists of all your FSOs, Division staff and DSOs that are above (or below) you in the chain of command.

The eDirectory is also the main avenue to verify that you are actually an auxiliary member. This is the directory used by anyone to verify your membership. The password used is how you will gain access to any member supported services (like the Shop Auxiliary site or any of the Online District Stores).

Any new auxiliary services or programs in the future that will require you to "log on" for security will use the eDirectory password to gain access.

So it will be to your benefit and necessary for some access to services to sign up at the eDirectory. Below is the link to go to for the sign-up process.

From The Commodore:

As you know, there has been a change in leadership, but let me assure you there has been no change in direction of our missions.  We will continue our drive to recruit more members who share our desire to support the US Coast Guard, and the Boating Public.  We are also looking to increase the number of members that want to step into Leadership positions.  We will continue to operate and expand all of our programs as we can.  I want you all to know my door will always be open to you.  You are welcome to call, write, or e-mail me.  If you are dealing with a problem, I would suggest going through your chain of leadership first.  Starting with your FC or FSO for which ever program or whatever you might be having a problem with.  Please remember that all persons in leadership positions are there to support YOU the member.  Whether in for twenty years, or for two weeks, your concerns are equally important.

We have a busy summer coming up.  We’ll have competition for an ISAR Team, another Coxswain Academy, and 3 or 4 Crew Academies.  All this along with normal SAR activities, VSCs, and Public Education classes should keep everyone involved with something to do.  We will also have a “Coastie Robot” in Southeast, South Central, and Interior Alaska.  (More fun opportunities to volunteer.)

Above all, at all events, meetings, etc, ALL SHOULD TAKE SOME TIME TO HAVE FUN AS A GROUP!
