D17 Photo Gallery

The District 17 photo Gallery is an collection of members photos available to view and enjoy. It is an interactive photo database, that is any member can submit photos directly from their own computer. All the D17member has to do is register at the Gallery website, be authorized from the Gallery Administrator as an "authorized user" and then follow a few easy steps to begin uploading their own photos to the website. Uploading is reserved and available for only D17 members!

You can upload up to ten photos at a time for submission to the gallery. Follow the step-by-step path for the upload....its easy and self explanatory! There is a maximum size for each photo which is 1024kb, it will tell you if the photo is too large of a file size. Try to keep the file size down, especially if you are on a dial-up connection.

The gallery will let you create your own personal photo album or you can insert your photos into any of the albums already on the site. I would recommend sending the gallery administrator an email about the different groups of photos that you have prior to upload, that way a new album can be made for each event that you and everyone can add photos to it. That way the album formatting will stay consistent.

Content is only for Auxiliary photos and is subject to editing!

If anyone has large batches of photos to put on the site I would recommend making a CD and sending it to the D17 DSO-CS, there is an easier way to add large numbers at a time but it can only be done by the gallery administrator.
