General Info


Bus Information and Schedule:
A light meal and snacks will be provided on the bus. Please bring $5.00 (each way) to help defer the cost.  The bus will make one short stop for a break.  There is a toilet on the bus (and will be usable the entire distance).

Indicate on your TAD request which buses you intend to take or if you have already turned in your TAD request, please reply with your bus intentions (departure and return).


Thursday Feb 14, 2008:
1. BUS ONE - Depart Anchorage International Airport at 1:30pm.  Depart People Mover Complex at 2pm. 
2. BUS TWO - Depart Anchorage International Airport at 4:30pm.  Depart People Mover Complex at 5:00pm.
 

Monday Feb. 18, 2007:

 

1. BUS ONE: Airport members have priority seating.  Departs Homer at 6am.  Arrives at the Airport at 10:30am.  Make your return airline reservations to depart Anchorage Airport after 12:30pm.
2. BUS TWO: Departs Homer at 7am.  Arrives at the Airport at 11:30 pm and at People Mover at 12:00 pm.

Scholarships for members to be able to attend the 2008 DTRAIN event  FREE of registration charges to help with costs are available!

Friday February 15

 
  Quarterdeck "A" Completed Registration Form with ($99 check or Scholarship Coupon) 
8:00 Opening Ceremony must be received by Frances Eischens "No Later ThanJanuary 20th 2008 
v Conference for attendance to our 2008, 17th District Winter Conference.   
v MC Our SPECIAL room rate of $99 at the Lands End Resort will end 
v Danny Cole on January 20th.  Room fees will increase after Jan 20th, due to 
10:00 Homer FC the Lands End Resort,  "Valentines Weekend Special Program".
  Hotel set-up Bus Transportation Requests "TAD's" MUST be received by  
11:00 Awards Luncheon DIRAUX Office ASAP, Deadline for TAD's will also be January 20th,  
v v Official Travel Orders "Reimbursable or Permissive" must be requested from
v v DIRAUX Office.  Deadline for Travel Orders will be January 20th also.
v v Uniforms:  Opening Ceremony, Trops, All Instructor should wear "Trops"
v v Formal Banquet: Dinner Dress or Appropriate Formal Civilian Attire, Please.
